Sanmina Corporation has facilities strategically located in key regions throughout the world Production Supervisor  Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly skillded and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising production and test operations on a day-to-day basis to ensure optimum productivity; allocating personnel, material, and equipment resources to meet production schedules; monitoring performance; adjusting resources as necessary; and coordinating with other Manufacturing Departments (i.e. Engineering, Maintenance, Materials) to obtain necessary support. Nature of Duties: Prioritize and delegate work assignments to group leaders and employees to best meet the production schedules, based on product introduction equipment efficiency and materials supplies. Plan nd organized production schedules to meet customer demand and production targets Monitor output against schedule and adjusting resources (personnel, equipment) as necessary. Work with Operations Manager to develop manpower forecast and schedules. Troubleshoot production problems including material, equipment and customer specifications. Analyze quality control and SPC data to identify problem areas. Collaborates with Quality, Process Engineering, Maintenance and other manufacturing departments to identify problem areas. Monitor production processes and quality control measres to ensure product quality standards are met Supervise work performance and provide subordinates with timely feedback and coaching Formally assess the performance of direct reports. Manage and train production team members to enhance their performance and productivity. Work with employees to correct performance and conduct issues. Develop and execute corrective action as necessary to address issues. Perform various administrative such as completing production reports, processing time sheets, etc.   Education and Experience: High School Diploma required; and advanced education preferred 1-2 years in a supervisor or leadership position or equivalent.
