**Job Title: Second Shift Production Supervisor- Medical Device** **Job Description** This position is responsible for the management and oversight of a contract medical manufacturing operation, which includes supervising production leads and approximately 50-100 production operators. The role involves using production and operating reports to manage yield rates, equipment uptime, output, material usage, and overhead rates to meet performance and cost expectations. The Production Supervisor will also resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimal costs and prevent production delays, as well as plan direct labor staffing to meet production forecasts. **Responsibilities** + Manage and oversee contract manufacturing operations. + Supervise production leads and approximately 50-100 production operators. + Use production and operating reports to manage yield rates, equipment uptime, output, material usage, and overhead rates. + Resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimal costs and prevent production delays. + Plan direct labor staffing to meet production forecasts. + Interview, hire, and train employees. + Plan and direct work, appraise performance, reward and discipline employees. + Address complaints and resolve problems. **Essential Skills** + Production management + Metrics and analysis + Engagement management + Manufacturing operations + Manufacturing process + Management skills + 5+ years of experience as a production manager, ideally in a contract manufacturing environment + Developing and maintaining metrics for production + People skills to influence the engagement of direct labor workforce + Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills + Experience with manufacturing software (Epicor) + Lean manufacturing + Epicor Vantage ERP **Work Environment** This role is set in a contract medical manufacturing environment, including work in and out of cleanrooms. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Arden Hills, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
