Production Supervisor
**Job Title: Production Supervisor** **Job Description** The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing small work teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment. The Production Supervisor ensures team safety, builds teams, and trains/allocates manpower. The role involves driving and implementing continuous improvement solutions to enhance product quality and meet throughput and cost targets while maintaining team morale. Key responsibilities include: Coordination of all activities to achieve business metrics and implement Stellantis Production Way (SPW) processes and initiatives. Ensuring the production plan is met, analyzing issues with other roles, and driving continuous improvement activities and sustainability of solutions within the zone. Ensuring a safe workplace by leading the team to improve safety in the area and enforcing the use of mandated safety tools and procedures. Understanding losses during the shift, using the C-Matrix to coordinate SPW activities, and improving zone performance. Proactively analyzing quality KPIs related to the zone, prioritizing quality issues, and properly guiding team leaders. **Hard Skills** + Experience in a union environment managing 40-50 hourly employees in full vehicle assembly + Experience with process improvements/quality improvements **Job Type** This is a contract position with a duration of 1 Year(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Sterling Heights, Michigan. **Work Environment** High volume automotive assembly plant. Floor Space: 5. feet. Acreage: 286 acres. Products: 2019 Ram 1500 (Quad Cab and Crew Cab). Employment: 6,222 (5,916 hourly; 306 salaried) on three shifts. Employee must be available to work any shift (3 shift operation). You will be on your feet/walking most of every shift.
