**Job Title: Production Supervisor** **Job Description** This company makes cord sets and is looking for a production supervisor. Preferably someone from the cable, wire, harness, or injection mold industry. Must have experience running a QA department and performing hands-on QA tasks. Responsible for managing and developing policies, improving processes and procedures necessary to ensure a quality finished product. Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure product quality. Maintain current knowledge and standards of established practice for crimped wire connections. Supervise a staff of approximately 25 hourly employees. Manage production expectations within the 2nd shift. Ensure accurate communication both verbally and written. Communicate within shift supervisors and other departments including maintenance and inventory. Take full responsibility for the smooth operation of the shift and employees. Ensure proper training and adherence to safety protocols and processes. Take an active role in continuous improvement.
