We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a 2nd shift Production Supervisor within our Operations team to help support our Work Furniture business. So, what will you be doing as a Production Supervisor?
Ensure safety, quality, delivery and efficiency objectives are met Enforce all company policies and procedures Measure and keep employees focused on the agreed upon key performance indicators Daily labor assignments Assure schedule completion daily Resolve people problem, conflict resolution. Work with cross functional teams to solve production impediments Material planning for production cells Serve as the primary lead on all safety issues for 2nd shift. and point of contact/designated responder
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
Prior experience in leading production workers. 1-3 years. Manufacturing/Furniture Production experience. 1-3 years Excellent communication skills. Proven ability to manage people effectively Ability to embrace & exhibit People First culture Have a growth mindset and drive for continuous improvement Strong MS office skills, specifically work and excel.What to Do Next
