We are looking for a Production Supervisor who is responsible, and dependable with a positive and upbeat personality and problem-solving skills. You must also be a team player who is always reliable, with a solid work ethic, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing and directing production activities and will directly supervise approximately 25-40 union hourly associates. This role coordinates and ensures that the production of Fuel Dispensers is produced efficiently and with the highest level of quality.
\n\nManage production operations & communicate staffing needs to achieve schedule commitments and assure delivery dates and customer demands are met\nMonitor day-to-day budget expense spending for achievement of business results\nPerforms administrative functions such as vacation scheduling, associate time & attendance, employee performance tracking, KPI chart maintenance and applicable countermeasure action\nManages employee issues relevant to counseling & conflict resolution per the union contract and associated policies\nEnsures a safe & clean work environment through use of the Vontier Business Systems (VBS) tools; Conduct regular safety & housekeeping audits and ensure appropriate corrective action is taken including follow-up investigations for all safety incidents\nEnsures compliance for all Hazard Communication & OSHA regulations including necessary training\nCoaches & encourages continuous improvement for all operational aspects to achieve optimum performance\n\nAssociate or Bachelors' degree preferred, engineering or relevant field will be an advantage.\nMust have one to three years of supervising hourly associates in a manufacturing environment or equivalent experience.\nKnowledge of a variety of operational excellence competencies including yet not limited to: Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, Toyota Production System Tools.\nExcellent communications (written and verbal) and presentation/facilitation skills\nStrong interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills\nAbility to assess the needs of the business and implement the best solutions\n\nMust be legally authorized to work in the US
