What You'll Do:

Maintains staff by orienting and training employees, developing personal growth opportunities. Accomplishes staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; conducting training; implementing & enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards, adhering to legal regulations. Completes operations by developing schedules; assigning and monitoring work; gathering resources; implementing productivity standards; resolving operations problems; maintaining reference manuals; implementing new procedures. Provides quality service by enforcing quality, customer service standards, participate in submitting quality improvements. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing procedures, specifications, MI’s and Field manuals. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Accomplishes department objectives by organizing and monitoring work process. Input Data into KRONOS, Rail RX, TRACS, MS Office and Excel Monitoring employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.  Conduct annual reviews for staff performance.  Knowledgeable in Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Labor Analysis, 5s, 8 wastes and changeover reduction.  Implements methods and modifications to reduce/improve production costs. Propose and implement Cost Reduction initiatives that simplify manufacturing processes and increase plant profits.  Collaborate with Lean and Continuous improvement teams at plant during Kaizen events or Value Stream Mapping activities. 

 

What You'll Need:     

Experience with interpreting and enforcing company policies and legal guidelines of the field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Outstanding organizational and leadership skills. Must be self-managed and have the ability to lead, inspire and motivate teams. Associate degree or equivalent education preferred. 5 years Supervision experience Lean concepts, Kaizen events and continuous improvement experience preferred.  Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering Preferred.
