**Production Supervisor** **Job Description** Manage, direct, and coordinate all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining safety and quality. Coach production team to be accountable for safety, production, quality, equipment, and housekeeping of the department. Coordinate with Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achieved. Carry out supervisory responsibilities including planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance and addressing complaints and resolving problems. **Responsibilities** + Manage, direct, and coordinate all activities related to a production shift. + Maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining safety and quality. + Coach production team on accountability for safety, production, quality, equipment, and housekeeping. + Coordinate with Scheduler to achieve daily production requirements. + Plan, assign, and direct work, appraise performance, address complaints, and resolve problems. + Gather and report all production data daily. + Support and enhance quality initiatives to meet plant goals. + Ensure department safety and meet plant safety goals. + Comply with SQF and GMP practices for safe packaging and report food safety issues. **Preferred Skills** + 3+ years of related professional and progressive Manufacturing experience. + High School diploma or equivalent. + Proficient in MS Office. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities. + Team-oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams. + Willingness to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines. **Why Work Here?** We offer great benefits, PTO, and the opportunity for growth within a large company. **Work Environment** You will be overseeing two team leads and 45 production workers across two site locations.
