What you will do in this role:

Adheres to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

The Production Supervisor has daily responsibility for providing direct supervision to manufacturing associates, in one or more value streams or departments, to achieve Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People performance goals. Through strong cross-functional leadership competencies and adherence to Integer Values, you coordinate the alignment of resources and equipment in the most efficient and effective manner to achieve production goals.

What a typical day looks like:

Manage by Gemba walks, observations and asking questions. Have a curious mind with a passion for improving processes. Be an active listener, seeking opportunities to engage with your team members throughout the site and across all functions.

Execute production plans in conjunction with planning, customer service teams and others, to ensure compliance with customer requirements by applying lean manufacturing principles with emphasis on variation reduction and elimination of waste.

Audit processes and product; including but not limited to 5S, Safety, Quality, Production, to ensure associates adhere to Integers policies and procedures.

Communicate between shifts and other departments to implement best practices, resolve problems, and sustain consistent performance to objectives.

Performs other duties as required.

Delivery - Coordinates production area to achieve schedule in support of delivery of products on time.

What sets you apart:Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business-related discipline or a combination of education (High School diploma, Associates Degree)

3 years of experience in leading people and teams

English 70%

Experience:

3-5 Years in a manufacturing environment, proven experience in Lean Manufacturing concepts

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Understands what it means to lead, know how to take leadership actions, create and share a coordinated vision, and align the organization on what needs to be done.

Leadership and a clear preference for working in a team environment and establishing an expectation that team comes before self.

Execute plans by prioritizing daily activities and working on the critical few instead of the trivial many.

La posición de Supervisor de Producción es responsable de dirigir y coordinar las actividades de producción para lograr la máxima salida cumpliendo con los estándares de calidad de nuestro producto y las demandas de nuestros clientes en un entorno seguro para los colaboradores y el (la) mismo (a), a través de la administración y motivación del equipo de trabajo para lograr dirigirlos a la búsqueda de la mejora continua.

Responsable de:

• Asegurar que su personal recibe el entrenamiento necesario de acuerdo a su instrucción de trabajo.

• Mantiene un medio seguro de trabajo a través del cumplimiento de obligaciones legales e internas de la compañía, como el uso de equipo de protección personal y reportando de manera constante cualquier condición insegura o riesgos ergonómicos.

• Dirigir, desarrollar y motivar a una fuerza de trabajo efectiva, la cual es necesaria para concordar con los objetivos productivos de la planta

Dirigir las acciones necesarias con su equipo de soporte para cumplimiento de plan de producción.

• Supervisa las actividades de los miembros del equipo de producción; planea las actividades del departamento; mantiene cargas de trabajo para todos los miembros del equipo y asegura el uso de métodos adecuados de trabajo, asegura el balanceo de sus áreas productivas.

• Asignar tiempo extraordinario según sea requerido para alcanzar las metas de producción.

• Liderear las acciones adecuadas para lograr metas y objetivos de métricos tales como: scrap, productividad, rechazos externos y/o internos.

Promover y ser partícipe de una cultura y sistema de trabajo enfocados a la mejora continua

• Asegurar el cumplimiento de su meta de producción a través de pizarrones de hora por hora y dirigir las acciones pertinentes para alcanzar el objetivo.

• Participar en reuniones de trabajo de acuerdo a las necesidades de negocio.

• Asegurar contar con los recursos necesarios para el cumplimiento al plan de producción.

• Administración del personal a su cargo (asistencia, vacaciones, ausentismos).

• Participar en auditorias internas y externas según como sea requerido.

• 3 años de experiencia en el departamento de producción

• Conocimientos de herramientas básicas como: cálculo de productividad, 5s, cuellos de botella

• Administración de métricos

• Manejo de Excel básico

• Administración del personal.
