PLANT DESCRIPTION
Our newly commissioned plant(2022) features side-by-side assembly lines for 2 unique commercial roofing products(TPO and ISO). Both these products are manufactured with state-of-the-art equipment in a clean, safe, bright facility. Great Team Environment with growth potential for the right person.

The Production Supervisor role will focus on producing a high quality product by leading employees to maintain a high level of awareness on safety, environmental and process compliance.

Lead a positive change effort to improved performance by motivating, recognizing and inspiring others to be effective and efficient in their activitiesChampion hazard identification, evaluation and control through the behavior-based safety and risk assessment programsLead daily safety share, encourage, and recognize all safety behaviorIncrease employee engagement and improve the labor relations climate through participation in continuous improvement (get suggestions, report problems, participate in team problem solving sessions)Identify and coordinate trainings for production employee, (Job training with STD work description, SOP and WI, Safety training, STOP. FLRA and all others safety programs)Ensure proper documentation and complete reports (compliance, checklists, production reports, spreadsheets, metrics, incident investigations, etc.)Evaluate employee performance monthly with coaching and support to achieve results.Continually improve the operational efficiency of the plant by submitting ideas and solutionsEnsure a rigorous follow-up of all 5SCommunicate efficiently between all departments and all staffFor all breakdown or needed plant repairs, make efficiently a service request to maintenance dept. as soon as possibleApprove timecards, vacations, and all other Kronos and Workday requirementsAll other duties as assignedOUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
Post-secondary degree/diploma, preferably in industrial technology or engineering, business administration, or managementMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience within a fast-paced Manufacturing environment, 3 of which must be in a supervisory roleStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with hands-on problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environmentStrong interpersonal skills and leadership ability in order to successfully manage a diverse group of employeesExcellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and analytical skillsProven track record of operational enhancement and improvements through employee engagement, demonstrated team building talentExcellent time management, planning, and organizational skillsProficient in MS OfficeKnowledge of KRONOS time and attendance system is an assetSchedule - Must be able to work a 10 or 12 hour rotating shift(days/nights), including some future weekends. Great schedule available!
