Job Summary:
This position requires a strong understanding of the entire cycle of new and repaired mechanical orders, including the DCI process, quoting, and concluding with delivery and acceptance. The Production Supervisor ensures that dates are in control and determines if we need to outsource processes and/or work overtime to meet delivery dates. The Production Supervisor manages the availability of manufactured parts, purchased parts, and outside operations to align with Flowserve’s shop labor. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager and has direct reports.

Your primary responsibilities will be around several aspects
Leadership:
Perform one-on-one meetings with direct reports providing continuous coaching documented in Workday.Creating progression development plans for employees.Managing difficult conversations, resulting in positive outcomes.Execute monthly facility meetings discussing QRC performance. Being able to present.Willing to work past regular working hours to support second and weekend personnel.Safety and Quality:
Managing Safety Committee meetings through the SHEA lead.Understand and improve the safety maturity standing.Perform GEMBA walks to drive an improved safety culture.Resolve Cost of poor quality (COPQ) issues to reduce scrap, rework, and warranties.Resolve Warranty issues through QaulityQuest.Improve efficiency through our facility utilizing Kaizen projects.Ensure employees are trained appropriately through PeopleQuest.Maintenance of the equipment is occurring through PMQuestQRC Performance:
Driving customer satisfaction by reducing past due backlog and increasing on-time performance.Driving increased sales with the engagement of a sales manager, resulting in increased book-to-ship orders.Forecast monthly sales with minimal deviation from the first week's forecast by reviewing the entire backlog weekly.Maintain high accuracy in inventory counts by resolving fundamental issues in cycle counts.Drive accountability to team members through morning and afternoon meetingsResolve direct labor and capacity issues.Reduce and maintain low excess inventory.Eliminate MRP exceptions.And any other duties assigned.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field5 years of manufacturing operation, supply chain/ purchasing, quality assurance, inside sales, and product development.Experience in leadership roles in industrial operationsKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processesKnowledge of SAPStrong computer skills using Microsoft office applications.Able to influence across an organization and build high-performing teams.Preferred Skills:
A master’s degree in business administration is a plusThe pay range for this position is $88,312 - $110,421 USD Annual
