The plant was built in 1981, manufactures paper cups, lids and folding food containers, and has approximately 400 employees.

Schedule:
Primarily Monday - Friday, some Saturdays as needed2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm (overtime with 12 hour shifts may be required occassionally)Responsibilities Manage, direct and coordinate all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining qualityTypically supervises 50 plus employeesCoordinate with Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achievedCarry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring & training employeesPlanning, assigning & directing workAppraising performanceRewarding & disciplining employeesAddressing complaints & resolving problemsEnsure all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basisSupport & improve upon Quality initiatives designed to meet plant goalsEnsures safety programs are implemented effectively, reviewed regularly and revised as necessary Qualifications BA/BS degree preferred (business, engineering, or other related field)2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturingGood verbal & interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work well in group situationsAbility to deal effectively with conflict in mature & consistent mannerGood computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft OfficeSAP experience preferred

The compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Pactiv Evergreen, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $69,500/year - $92,700/year.
