PLANT DESCRIPTION Our newly commissioned plant(2022) features side-by-side assembly lines for 2 unique commercial roofing products(TPO and ISO). The Production Supervisor role will focus on producing a high quality product by leading employees to maintain a high level of awareness on safety, environmental and process compliance. FLRA and all others safety programs) + Ensure proper documentation and complete reports (compliance, checklists, production reports, spreadsheets, metrics, incident investigations, etc.) + Evaluate employee performance monthly with coaching and support to achieve results. + Continually improve the operational efficiency of the plant by submitting ideas and solutions + Ensure a rigorous follow-up of all 5S + Communicate efficiently between all departments and all staff + For all breakdown or needed plant repairs, make efficiently a service request to maintenance dept. as soon as possible + Approve timecards, vacations, and all other Kronos and Workday requirements + All other duties as assigned OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE; + Post-secondary degree/diploma, preferably in industrial technology or engineering, business administration, or management + Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience within a fast-paced Manufacturing environment, 3 of which must be in a supervisory role + Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with hands-on problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment + Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability in order to successfully manage a diverse group of employees + Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and analytical skills + Proven track record of operational enhancement and improvements through employee engagement, demonstrated team building talent + Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills + Proficient in MS Office + Knowledge of KRONOS time and attendance system is an asset Schedule - Must be able to work a 10 or 12 hour rotating shift(days/nights), including some future weekends. Great schedule available! WORK AUTHORIZATIONS AND TRAVEL; + Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
