We are seeking a dedicated and expert Production Supervisor to join our team at our Grand Prairie, TX facility. This position will be responsible for leading all aspects of daily production processes and serving as a key liaison between the hourly assembly workforce and various departments within the organization.
You'll make an impact by:
Serve as the primary driver of all daily production-related processes, ensuring smooth information transfer between hourly assembly workforce, management, engineering, quality control, purchasing, and planning. Improve workplace safety by implementing initiatives to reduce production errors, improve product quality, and increase efficiency. Manage production schedules, assign personnel to work areas, supervise progress, coordinate and document training programs, drive continuous improvement projects, and conduct annual employee performance evaluations. Maintain compliance with the local union regulations by adhering to the collective bargaining. Support digitalization efforts by implementing tools such as Digital Work Instructions, Operator Displays, Performance/Status Dashboards, and other connected solutions.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in an Assembly/Manufacturing or related field in a supervisory role. At least 1 year of SAP experience and proficient in Microsoft office. Mechanical proficiency with experience using hand tools. Highschool diploma or equivalent. Project management experience. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.You’ll benefit from:
