Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our team of 9 forklift drivers responsible for picking and packing orders in our distribution center. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient operations, maintain high safety standards, and drive continuous improvement in our processes.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead a team of 9 forklift drivers, ensuring they meet daily picking and packing targets.Monitor and optimize workflows to enhance productivity and accuracy in order fulfillment.Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety training to ensure a safe working environment.Oversee the quality of picked and packed orders, ensuring they meet company standards.Coordinate with inventory control to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing feedback and coaching to team members.Address and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, other supervisors, and management.Essential SkillsProduction supervisionShipping and receiving supervisionInventory controlOrder entryCycle countsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in production managementProficiency with email communicationWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The distribution center is located across the street from the manufacturing plant. It is a non-climate controlled facility with a total of 13 employees, including 9 floor employees and 4 office employees. Shifts available: 1st Shift (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) and 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Terre Haute, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00
