Pittsburgh Paint Company is now hiring a Production Supervisor in Carrollton Texas! As the Production Supervisor, you have direct supervisory responsibility for a designated production area.
You will report to the Plant Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a safe and healthy work environment for all employees through accurate maintenance of equipment and facilities and elimination of health hazards to prevent work stoppage and time loss due to accidents, while ensuring adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations and standards.Help facilitate regular production meetings to improve the communications between shifts and teams.Promote open discussion of process improvements and techniques to lead the Plant toward cost and operating goals.Present recommendations to the Plant Production Manager to implement approved programs. Contribute to decisions regarding direction, training, goal setting, and other administrative responsibilities.Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions, and responding to requests.Leads fellow supervisors to resolves employee problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.Qualifications:Five (5) years minimum experience in supervision.Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a production/manufacturing environment required. Preferably in a lead role.Experience with Workday is desired, and digital Microsoft Office required.High school Diploma or equivalent education degree required. Bachelor’s degree in a relative field preferred.Leadership or supervision, coaching, employee engagement, and mentorship experience required.Ability to manage processes and process change, resource planning, and production planning required.Previous experience with Lean Methodology, process improvement, and 5S preferred.Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident.Experienced with Kronos, and QAD preferred.#LI-Onsite
