Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for directing and coordinating with designated personnel to ensure that production and performance are aligned. This position will also be responsible for providing effective training to key members of the production operations, relaying effective communication strategies, and providing leadership and technical guidance to ensure that production goals, quality standards, and safety goals are met.

ResponsibilitiesReceive and provide oral and/or written instructions in performing assigned duties.Prepare work schedules for production employees and provide daily work assignments.Attend daily production meetings along with other meetings as required.Provide technical leadership to ensure that the on-going process of continuous quality improvement is maintained.Develop and train operators of all equipment to ensure consistent performance.Communicate, implement, and monitor safety programs and procedures.Maintain department in a clean, orderly, and safe fashion.Work alongside the Personnel Department to schedule adequate and competent staff to effectively run operations.Essential Skills5+ years of manufacturing/production supervision experienceInventory control experienceQuality experienceGreat communication skills

Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing environment primarily supporting the bedding and automotive industries. The role involves working a night shift from 7pm to 5am, Sunday through Thursday. The facility prioritizes cleanliness, orderliness, and safety, ensuring a well-maintained working space.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

Attendance Bonus of $1 an hour, paid weekly.
Retention Bonus: $100 at 30 days - $150 at 60 days and $250 at 90 days
60 Hours of Unpaid Time & paid out if you do not use it
