**Production Supervisor**
**Job Description**
The Production Supervisor ensures compliance with all safety rules and regulations, oversees the safety of all assigned employees through training and enforcement of company safety guidelines, and ensures 5S, housekeeping, and workplace organization meet standards. The role involves developing, planning, and coordinating production employee activities to produce the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost using the PDCA approach. The supervisor manages product quality to meet or exceed internal and external customer specifications and develops programs to continually improve products, processes, and services. The role also involves meeting or exceeding production KPIs for safety, quality, throughput, downtime, and yield, facilitating training for supervised employees, and maintaining effective communication at all levels.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
+ Ensure the safety of all assigned employees through training and enforcement of company safety guidelines.
+ Ensure 5S, housekeeping, and workplace organization meet standards.
+ Develop, plan, and coordinate production employee activities to produce the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost using the PDCA approach.
+ Manage product quality to meet or exceed internal and external customer specifications.
+ Develop internal and external programs to continually improve products, processes, and services.
+ Ensure all production KPIs meet or exceed budgeted levels for safety, quality, throughput, downtime, and yield.
+ Facilitate training for all supervised employees to understand job function requirements.
+ Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to address and resolve mutual concerns.
+ Maintain a union-free environment.
+ Support the cascade of briefing and communication requirements.
+ Provide appropriate guidance, counseling, or recognition on job performance matters.
+ Direct and coordinate continuous improvement activities using data-driven problem-solving techniques.
+ Optimize material flow and storage of all direct and indirect materials throughout work cells.
+ Actively participate in the preparation and execution of the annual physical inventory.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Berea, Kentucky.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
