**Job Title: Production Supervisor**
**Job Description**
The Shift Production Supervisor oversees the production process, ensuring products meet design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The position requires managing the daily operations of Blow Mold, the person, and Production Departments, and ensuring machinery and equipment function properly. This is a night shift role from Sunday to Thursday, 11pm to 7am.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage daily operations of Blow Mold, the person, and Production Departments.
+ Ensure machinery and equipment function properly and report malfunctions.
+ Record production counts and monitor scrap and regrind levels.
+ Move WIP inventory and record daily attendance.
+ Plan and organize team workflow, assign tasks, and delegate responsibilities.
+ Train employees on safety procedures and proper use of tools and machinery.
+ Monitor employee progress and efficiencies, and provide performance feedback.
+ Assist in hiring new employees.
+ Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliver products on time.
+ Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work environment.
+ Report quality or safety issues and work effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least one year of supervisory experience.
+ 3+ years of manufacturing/production experience.
+ Attention to detail: Precision, accuracy, and thoroughness in tasks.
+ Basic math skills: Accurate and efficient mathematical calculations and measurements.
+ Communication skills: Effective and professional information exchange.
+ Computer skills: Proficiency in functional software and Microsoft Office.
+ Conflict management: Resolving interpersonal conflicts using effective communication and problem-solving.
+ Critical thinking: Analyzing complex situations and making informed decisions.
+ Delegation: Assigning tasks based on team members' skills and providing support.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Plastics experience preferred but not required.

**Work Environment**
This role requires physical dexterity including bending, twisting, reaching, standing, walking, and using hands. The ability to lift and move boxes weighing 30-50 lbs infrequently is necessary. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Employees may be exposed to varying temperatures and inclement weather, with a moderate noise level due to forklifts and power tools.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

**Workplace Type**
