Job Description
Supervise a department of 20-30 production and warehouse workers. Oversee and monitor all blending operations, ensuring accurate measurements, loading of bulk ingredients, and the efficient operation of blending equipment to maintain high product quality and consistency. Document all blending processes, ingredient usage, and quality control results in compliance with company policies, ensuring traceability and regulatory adherence. Oversee the handling, storage, and transport of raw materials, ingredients, and finished products, ensuring proper organization and minimal risk of contamination or damage. Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate documentation of material usage, utilizing inventory management systems to track and update stock levels. Monitor material levels, ensuring timely reordering to prevent production delays and maintain continuous workflow. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products to meet production schedules. Make real-time adjustments to blending machines to optimize performance and prevent over-blending or under-blending, ensuring the desired product specifications are met.

This is a new position created due to the restructuring of leadership, allowing you to make this role your own. The company is growing and adding leadership to the Baltimore site for greater efficiency. They have recently acquired two companies and are continuing to grow both domestically and internationally.
Work Environment
The work environment is a busy, often noisy manufacturing plant subject to weather conditions, smells, and fluctuating temperatures. It is a GMP environment, very clean as they are dealing with food products and flavoring. The plant has around 80 people and is growing. Shifts available: 1st Shift from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm, and 2nd Shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
