**Job Title: Production Supervisor**
**Job Description**
Hiring now a supervisor for production in the food industry. The supervisor will be responsible for operations and ongoing production of food processing. This position will be hands-on in production, working closely with the team. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email. English fluency is required, and bilingualism in Spanish is a plus.
**Responsibilities**
+ Supervise production operations and ongoing food processing.
+ Train and manage employees in the production team.
+ Ensure adherence to safety procedures and processes.
+ Perform preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
+ Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
+ Implement and oversee process improvements.
+ Schedule and coordinate production tasks.
+ Ensure compliance with safety management and training.
**Essential Skills**
+ Supervision and management experience in the food and beverage industry.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email).
+ Experience as a maintenance technician.
+ Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
+ Knowledge of safety procedures and process improvements.
+ Ability to oversee a team and ensure effective communication.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
+ Experience in sanitation and food safety.
+ Project management skills.
+ Back ground in safety-oriented practices.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a manufacturing setting where employees may be exposed to peppers and onions during production. It can be noisy (95-100 dB) and may experience varying temperatures depending on outdoor conditions. The office area is quiet. The position requires full-time availability and the flexibility to work any day of the week as needed.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of deming, New Mexico.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
