Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Production Supervisor to oversee our grinding department. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a warehouse or construction environment. If you have experience in masonry, construction, or warehouse settings and can lift 50 pounds consistently, we encourage you to apply.

ResponsibilitiesHand grind tools to achieve the correct shape and texture.Work on an assembly line, taking cinder blocks and placing them on pallets.Consistently lift 50 pounds in a very physical role.Inspect cinder blocks for blemishes or deformities.Perform repetitive tasks, standing for 9 hours a day.Pick up plastic used to wrap palletized cinder blocks in the yard.Oversee a team of 7-8 people in the grinding department.Essential SkillsExperience in a warehouse, masonry, or construction environment.Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently.Attention to detail and ability to perform tedious tasks.Reliability and punctuality.Ability to count large quantities accurately.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.Experience with power tools and hand tools.Experience in construction or warehouse settings is a major plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Candidates will be working in the grinding department, which is very loud, dirty, and open. The environment gets very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. You will be working around large industrial machines that produce cinder blocks. The team size includes about 15 full-time employees and up to 20 temporary workers. The shift runs from 3 pm to 12 am Monday to Thursday, and 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Friday. The dress code includes steel-toe boots, jeans (no shorts), and a shirt or long sleeve (no tank tops). Safety equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, ear plugs, and gloves will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
