**Job Title: Production Supervisor**
**Job Description**
This position will be responsible for the management and oversight of a contract manufacturing operation that includes production leads and approximately 50-100 production operators. You will use production and operating reports to manage yield rates, equipment uptime, output, material usage, and overhead rates to meet performance and cost expectations. Additionally, you will resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimal cost and prevent production delays. Planning direct labor staffing to meet production forecasts will also be a crucial part of your role.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage and oversee a contract manufacturing operation.
+ Use production and operating reports to manage yield rates, equipment uptime, output, material usage, and overhead rates.
+ Resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimal cost and prevent production delays.
+ Plan and direct labor staffing to meet production forecasts.
+ Interview, hire, and train employees.
+ Plan and direct work.
+ Appraise performance and reward or discipline employees.
+ Address complaints and resolve problems.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years experience as a production manager, ideally in a contract manufacturing environment.
+ Strong production management and manufacturing operations skills.
+ Experience in developing and maintaining metrics for production.
+ Proficiency in data analytics and problem-solving.
+ Strong people skills to influence the engagement of direct labor workforce.
+ Experience with manufacturing software, specifically Epicor.
+ Knowledge of Lean manufacturing.
+ Experience with Epicor Vantage ERP.
+ Experience in the medical device manufacturing sector.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in the implementation of a new ERP system (Epicor).
+ Experience working in a small to midsize company that experienced significant growth.
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
