Description We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor for a manufacturing facility located in Cincinnati, OH. The Production Supervisor will oversee daily shift operations, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, process execution, and team development. This role involves supervising high-speed production packaging processes, including bottling, canning, and kegging, to ensure timely distribution while adhering to company policies and procedures. An additional responsibility may include owning process improvement initiatives within an assigned operational zone. Key Responsibilities: + Direct packaging teams to ensure products meet quality and safety standards through proper sanitation, processing, and packaging protocols. + Perform operational tasks as required to support packaging needs. + Participate in interviews, selection processes, and new hire onboarding. + Lead and support employee development, including performance evaluations and succession planning. + Conduct pre-shift team meetings to communicate safety updates, production goals, and process feedback. + Implement and oversee process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Kaizen, TPM) to enhance efficiency. + Monitor active production schedules and ensure timely execution to meet distribution demands. + Address production-related challenges, such as process loss or equipment inefficiencies, and recommend actionable solutions. + Investigate and report safety incidents promptly and accurately. + Handle payroll-related reporting for hourly staff Requirements Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: + 2+ years of leadership and manufacturing supervisory experience. + Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, and process improvement techniques. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). + Ability to wear required PPE and perform physical tasks involving lifting, twisting, or prolonged standing. Preferred Skills: + 2+ years in a process engineering role.
