Summary Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in the construction of factory-built housing within a manufacturing plant.\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n

\u2022 Examines blueprints to determine dimensions of structure.
\u2022 Studies production schedules and assigns employees as required to meet production schedules.
\u2022 Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
\u2022 Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
\u2022 Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
\u2022 Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
\u2022 Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
\u2022 Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
\u2022 Calculates time card totals and production records.
\u2022 Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.
\u2022 Sets up machines and equipment.\n

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the plant. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the
organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning,
assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing
complaints and resolving problems.\n

Education and\/or Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.\n
