Water & Protection business is hiring in Contern a Production Supervisor (m/w/d) managing the power house of the plant.

Responsibilities include:

Operations leader of the POWER unit.Sets expectations for adherence to procedures (internal and external) and safety standards. Accountable for area performance on core values, process safety, quality, occupational discipline and productivity.Creates and maintains a respectful work environment and maintains DuPont’s core values around ethics and respectful people treatment.Provides leadership to 20 direct reports.Coaches and develops direct reports and cultivates an atmosphere of learning and development of personnel. This includes frequent performance discussions and setting up training plans.Drives short- and long-term leadership, direction & strategy for the area. Develops operations plan.Ensures continuous, efficient & reliable supply of different POWER services and utilities in desired quantity and quality. Effectively coordinates daily maintenance work, planned & unplanned equipment shutdowns.Collaborates with other POWER teams and site units, for coordination of schedules and understanding of customer needs.Member of site committees (ex. Emergency Response, Waste Coordinator, …)

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or 5+ years of industrial/manufacturing plant experience requiredDemonstrated effective communication and influential leadership skills. Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.Strong EH&S and Process Safety knowledge.Self-starter with good organizational skills, strong leadership, and strong interpersonal skills.Ability to coach, train, develop and lead the team to deliver superior results.Continuous improvement mindset requiredStrong written and verbal communication skills.Strong team player and mentor to all levels of the organization.Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, …)Fluently speaking German and English is a prerequisite, French is an advantage
