Position Summary: The Production Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for the assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of the entire brewing/packaging processes. The Production Supervisor will oversee the production shift, supervise coffee packaging, and maintain a safe work environment. The Production Supervisor will work closely with the management team to ensure that the processing remains consistent and that coffee production goals are met. This is a key position at the brewery and carries much responsibility. This person must ensure that the production produces high-quality products, on time and on budget. Essential Job Functions: Oversee production shift start to finish Manage production shift schedules Coordinate liquid movements with facility, canning, processing, storage, retort Maintain quality, food safety and staff safety Continually improve production processes and quality Enforce occupational health and safety standards Ensure facility cleanliness throughout the shift Minimum Position Qualifications: 3+ years managing a production line Demonstrates the ability to drive improvements Experience managing a production team Ability to work well with others and communicate issues in a timely manner Ability to complete tasks in timely manner Capable of lifting 40lbs. and capable of regularly moving 150lbs by pallet jack Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching Must always wear personal protective equipment Participates actively in facility safety initiatives, programs, and training sessions Ability to work a schedule of (5) full 8-hour workdays per week, with the flexibility to occasionally work nights and weekends as needed
