Production Supervisor (Full Time) Varennes, QC
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Provide leadership and direction to the day-to-day operations of a production team to meet the demands of external and internal clients;Coordinate production to meet daily distribution requirements - including local daily needs as well as long distance shipments across the country;
Support daily distribution needs;Lead reliability, compliance, quality and safety programs for the assigned industry;ensure government and/or environmental regulations are met;Ensure the team is fully trained, engaged and operating in accordance with all aspects of Linde’s safety and quality systems and requirements, coordinating quality and safety training with compliance management;Monitor production and labour levels in the area of responsibility to ensure continuous efficiency, while anticipating problems and helping to develop emergency measures, reporting any problems to plant management, any production issues or requirements;Coordinates and communicates with counterparts to ensure proper inter-team operation and proper production transfer;
Identify problems and conduct improvement plans for production processes, work schedules, overtime levels, training, etc., reporting all activities to plant management;Manage and escalate equipment and product quality issues to the appropriate level;Responsible for maintaining an adequate inventory of production supplies;Supervise and manage inventory levels and complete TDG shipping documents;Support 5S and Lean projects and continuously identify ways to reduce

Qualifications:
