**Core Responsibilities**
+ People leader responsibilities: focus on mentoring, coaching and coordination
+ Manage staffing needs on a daily basis
+ Payroll and time keeping

+ Lead and manage safety activities
+ Daily management of quality checks
+ Daily team meetings
+ Process Improvement initiatives and efforts
+ Game plan development
**Leadership and Technical Competencies**
+ Strong interpersonal, leadership, time management, planning, organizational, and analytical skills with proven results
+ Integrity - Ensures both consistency of and compliance with company and departmental policies/procedures and performance standards. Implements operational plans to achieve designated objectives, established performance goals and quality standards.
+ Ability to analyze procedures, routine reports, and correspondence with a strong attention to detail
+ Identifies, reports and communicates to the Department Manager trends and/or irregularities. Takes a proactive approach to analyzing deficiencies and develops plans to correct. Recommends and implements solutions by involving team in problem solving to obtain the best results
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Strong problem solving and driving for Results, Priority setting and decision making. Ability to make good, rapid decisions in a face paced environment.
+ Foster a sense of teamwork and collaboration with the operational stakeholders.
+ Leads the team in creating an atmosphere that enables dialog and commitments that promote a continuous improvement mindset and has a favorable impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of the site through accuracy measurements.
+ Self-awareness: knows personal strengths, weaknesses and limits. Gains insights from mistakes and is open to criticism.
+ Able to have developmental conversations with direct reports.
+ Demonstrates emotional intelligence.
**Minimum Education and Experience**
+ Preferred Associate Degree or higher
+ Required 2 years plus of experience in a leadership/supervisory role
+ Preferred 3 to 5 years' experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment in a unionized manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency with MS office suite with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerBI
+ Preferred Lean experience and/or Six Sigma Certification
**Principal Duties and Accountabilities (*Essential Functions)**
+ Overall responsibility for production safety, delivery, quality, cost, environmental, people and on-time performance for the department/area
+ Evaluate and improve current processes to deliver positive growth in key performance indicators
+ Promote continuous improvement projects throughout the area
+ Supervises, mentors, coaches and coordinates teams (direct staff & support functions)
+ Approve time-reporting for teams in an accountable manner
+ Meet Manufacturing Operations goals and objectives, both driving positive environment while promoting employee’s ideas and suggestions
+ Complies & enforces Company and contractual policies, rules of conduct and regulations including OSHA, safety, environmental, and health and supports team in compliance with the same
+ Manages staffing needs and concerns including but not limited to safety, ergonomics, overtime, absenteeism, discipline
+ Leading Lean activities in assigned areas of responsibility, identifying waste and promoting continuous improvement. Advanced ability to apply various Lean Manufacturing tools
+ Initiates cross functional feedback for problem solving
