Production Supervisor on Duty

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as the on-call Production Supervisor on Duty (PSOD) for assigned shows and events.Serve as venue liaison for promoters, touring managers, artists, company and touring crews.Coordinate with house production crew and other departments to ensure all aspects of the show needs are met.Review and distribute the show schedule, cue sheets, and any other relevant documents to in house production crew.Work with in house production staff to resolve any technical or logistical issues that may arise during load-in/performances/ loadouts.Maintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure.Attend and participate in day of production meetings, security meetings.Provide safe working conditions and welfare of stage employees in accordance with ASM Global policies, and applicable EEO and OSHA regulations.Complete post-show financial reconciliation processes/ settlementOversee the breakdown and storage of equipment.Complete ‘Nightly Show Report’ listing accurate start/ end times, relevant details regarding the overall production per event.Document any technical issues utilizing the ‘Capital One Hall Technical Issue Tracker’Document incidents utilizing the ASM Global incident report and send to Director of Production, HR and GM.Assist with the clean-up and restoration of the venue to its pre-event condition including greenroom / dressing rooms utilized per event.Work with CSC staff to ensure venue is clear of all touring production staff and ensure all points of entry are closed and secureAll other duties as assigned by the Director of Production and Production Managers.Qualifications
Must have attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Must have experience as a technician in at least one discipline (audio, lighting, video, rigging) and/or 5+ years’ experience as a generalist in the industryMust have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills.Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.Must have the ability to train, plan, assign, direct work, and motivate stage personnel.Understand and work from general instructions, specifications, blueprints, lighting plots, rigging plots, and preventive maintenance schedules.Must be able to prepare, analyze and operate within department budget.Education and/or Experience
5+ years’ experience working in productionIdeal candidate will have a strong knowledge of theater practices and terminologyWorking knowledge of applicable OSHA, state and other work environment and safety regulationsWorking knowledge of fire and public safety issuesPrior supervisory experience preferred.Working Environment/Conditions
