Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of production, ensuring that all processes are executed safely and efficiently.

This position is part of the Production team located in Elridge, IA and will be onsite, Monday through Friday from 6.30 am to 3 pm.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Following appropriate SOP and EHS procedures and policy which may include the identification and proper handling of hazardous waste and file incident reports for work related incidents and near misses.Ensuring First Pass Yield: all products should meet the company's quality standards.Following the schedule and prioritizing workload.Directing, training, and assisting lower-level production workers to ensure efficient operations. This includes but not limited to, expectations, organizing workflow, and evaluating staff performance.Ensuring that all packaging and shipments meet ChemTreat’s specifications and DOT requirements.Maintaining inventories for materials that production consumes.Participating in corrective and preventative action practices as it relates to product quality, plant safety, environmental and DOT compliance.Strong focus on continuous improvement, ensuring that processes are consistently evaluated and enhanced for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.Performing all the duties for all positions within the department, as necessary.

The essential requirements of the job include:  

Associate’s degree/Bachelors Degree preferredAt least 3 years of management/supervisory experience5+ years’ experience in inventory management and forklift operation.Working knowledge of DOT regulations.Microsoft Office, and CRT/data entry experience.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $81,300 - $85,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
