**Job Title: Production Supervisor**
**Job Description**
We are a precision metal fabrication company serving industries such as Aerospace, Medical, Appliance, Defense Contracting, and Architectural. We are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to manage a team of about 8 people. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in powder coating and wet spray painting processes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure all department employees work safely and all hazardous conditions are eliminated.
+ Ensure statutory, regulatory, and environmental regulations are met.
+ Work closely with the Plant Manager and Quality Manager to meet quality standards and continuous improvement objectives.
+ Ensure the Quality Management System is upheld in all assigned departments.
+ Oversee day-to-day operations in the department.
+ Follow work schedules to meet deadlines.
+ Suggest manpower requirements to maximize product throughput while minimizing production costs.
+ Design and implement procedures related to areas of responsibility.
+ Ensure accurate and effective cross-departmental communication.
+ Supervise and monitor employees, including performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.
+ Adhere to all applicable operating policies and procedures.
+ Maintain compliance with regulatory and statutory regulations.
+ Write-up work procedures and provide necessary training.
+ Monitor available production time.
+ Assist with manufacturing process difficulties, including tooling and drawing requirements.
+ Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures.
+ Ensure accuracy of department inventory quantities at the end of each month.
+ Maintain a neat and clean work area.
+ Ensure output meets required deadlines.
+ Determine department tooling requirements and prioritize job sequences for efficient production.
+ Ensure adequate cross-training for scheduling flexibility and redundancy.
+ Assist the Plant Manager with supervision during weekends and non-traditional workdays.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience running two or more departments.
+ Good organizational skills with the ability to schedule the plant.
+ Strong ability to troubleshoot process failures.
+ Excellent mechanical acumen and problem-solving skills.
+ Friendly demeanor and experience working with customers.
+ Proficiency in Word, Excel, and ERP systems for production, costing, inventory control, and purchasing.
+ Strong supervisory skills and the ability to motivate and work well with others.
+ Understanding of environmental and OSHA requirements.
+ Experience with MRP systems and ISO standards.
+ 5 years of experience in production supervision.

+ Experience with lean manufacturing principles.

**Work Environment**
The work hours are 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday for the first shift, 3:30pm-2:00am (Monday-Thursday) for the second shift, 8:30pm-7:00am for the third shift, and 8:00am-8:30pm (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) for the weekend shift. Overtime is optional and available. The shop is climate-controlled and clean.

This is a Permanent position based out of Verona, Wisconsin.
