About the Role:

In this exciting role as a Production Supervisor-Packaging, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations and ensuring the flawless execution of production activities. You will have the opportunity to work in a world-class manufacturing facility, collaborating with a team of dedicated individuals to produce life-changing products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

PeopleProviding direction to Shift leads in carrying out their daily tasks, daily planning of work and organization of holidays and overtime as requiredPerform monthly Ace checkin with all direct reports to drive an environment of feedback and coaching.Coordination of staff training and development and ensuring that training is completed in a timely manner and that training records are properly maintained.Allocation of unit resources to the various unit functions (e.g. compounding, OE, process improvement teams etc.) and holiday leave planningMaterialsAssist in the introduction of New Products and Process Change ControlsManage stock and daily reconciliation of same. Initiate root cause and corrective actions for all discrepancies (both physically and on Merlin system)ComplianceMonitor compounding activities. Ensure compliance with Baxter policies/ procedures and cGMPFacilitate calibration and maintenance activities via capacity planning meetingControl environmental monitoring and micro-laboratory compliance within the unitEnsure that sanitizing, housekeeping and cleaning is carried out as pre SOP’sAssist in NCR and Atypical Event investigations. Identify and implement corrective actionReview and update SOP’s where neededFollow GMP and GDP practicesCompliance to EHS requirementsContinuous Improvements (C.I)Use GEMBA to coach staff in best practiceTrain in Green Belt Lean practice (if needed) to drive a Lean culture within the businessUse 6S and Kaizen initiatives to drive a safe and progressive work environmentReporting and Business SupportPreparing Production, Stock, important metric and Financial Reports.Deputize for Operations Manager where needed.Be an active leader and participant on site C.I projects

Qualifications

3+ years’ experience of supervision in a manufacturing areaWorking in Aseptic environmentExperience in Non-conformance initiation and investigationAbility to work in a team based environmentAbility to manage a wide range of specific tasksExcellent organisational and coordination skillsPeople management skills
