As a Production Supervisor, you will establish objectives while maintaining and promoting a safe and healthy work environment. In ... this role, you will supervise production and packaging activities, in addition to supporting plant and rolling equipment maintenance. This is a direct hire position with our client who offers a competitive wage and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
Lead the production and packaging teams and conduct regular meetings with employees;
Perform regular daily plant tours and inspections;
Oversee and ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and environmental standards;
Monitor KPIs with your team and advance the continuous improvement processes;
Analyzes production costs and recommends production and packaging improvements;
Ensures inventory of raw materials is adequate to support planned production;
Communicate effectively with the maintenance team for all rolling stock and plant equipment
maintenance requirements.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are desired
Bachelor's degree in relevant field (agriculture, horticulture)desired

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in staff management
Experience in materials production with 3 to 5 years of experience in similar functions
Experience in preventive maintenance of the equipment
Knowledge of principles, processes, and implementation of lean manufacturing
