Planning & Fulfillment Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesDevelop and optimize new manufacturing processes, equipment and fixtures.Perform process capability studies ensuring manufacturing processes are in control.Provide technical assistance for applicable departments to assure the smooth operation of processes.Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions.Provide departments with process input for new and redesigned products.Work with molding specialists to troubleshoot existing molds, processes and equipment.Responsible for accuracy of product routing and times.Continuously improve the production floor through standardizing our manufacturing methods.Work with tool engineering to complete tool proofing of all new toolingLear from best practices and creates lessons-learned documentationReports process and tool inefficiencies and suggests ideas for improvementEnsures that Bill of Materials (BOM) for the project meets the obligationsEnsure press maintenance scheduled and executed with internal and external support. Manage stock level of frequency used autonomous maintenance items.Coordinates with Manufacturing and Testing functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured, staged and testedPerform, as assigned, other similar or related duties.
Qualifications for the roleAssociates Degree in Advanced Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Engineering or similar field, or equivalent experienceMinimum 2 years in a manufacturing environmentStrong interpersonal skills a plus CAD softwareMS OfficeCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
