What would you do as our Production Team Lead?
As our Team Leader you would be responsible for maintaining quality and productivity of employees as well as departmental safety. You will be responsible for ensuring that production scheduled for completion is executed in a timely manner and within all quality procedures. Your role will also be responsible for training others within the department along with other subject matter expert operators.
You would also:
Lead and manage the paint line team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and environmental regulations in the paint line area. Collaborate with logistics, quality control, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Monitor and analyze workflows to improve production efficiency and implement corrective actions as needed. Train and mentor team members to ensure high-quality performance and support their professional growth. Track and report on production metrics, providing recommendations for process improvements and efficiency gains. Manage inventory to ensure timely availability of materials for continuous operation. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and production issues on the paint line quickly to minimize downtime. Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees. Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
The Skills and Experience you need:
High School diploma or GED equivalent Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably with leadership experience in operations. Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control standards. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using production management software and MS Office Suite.
