Job Title: Production Team Lead

JOB DUTIES:

Providing front line leadership to a small team (approx. 4-8)Delegating tasksTraining new employeesMotivating members to achieve production goalsQuality control/assuranceCoordinating with other team leads/supervisors - updating regularlyEnsuring the team is working in clean safe and organized environment Completing and reviewing production paperworkLead and execute line setups and product change overs

Additional Skills & QualificationsBilingual in a second language (Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi, Tagalog, etc.) is an asset.First Aid Level 2 certification.Food Safe certifications.Forklift Ticket / Electric pallet jack tickets

Work Environment

Our food manufacturing facility is fast-paced with conveyors and machines always running. The temperature on the production floor and warehouse areas ranges from 8-10 degrees. The primary work location has 3 cooler rooms (0 degrees) and 2 freezer rooms (-18 degrees), with an additional small warehouse across the street. The dress code includes steel toe work boots, and no jewelry, nail polish, or fake eyelashes are allowed due to food safety standards. This is a nut-free facility to accommodate allergies.
