How you will impact Smurfit Westrock as a Production Team Member: The Production Worker will safely perform a wide range of tasks, conducting quality checks, material set-up, machine set up and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery and powered equipment. What you need to succeed: * Work safely and follow Safety rules and regulations. * Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, operate power hand tools, and other duties assigned. * Maintain a clean work environment. * Be able to lift, push, or pull 50lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel through the entire shift. * Be willing to work ANY shift and willing to work overtime(may be required on occasion) * Willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment(hot/cold) * Stand on their feet for up to 12 hours per day. * PPE is a requirement for employment. Examples of required PPE are as follows: Safety toed shoes(steel or composite), ear plugs, bump camp, safety glasses, gloves, sleeves, etc. * ALL Jewelry is prohibited from being worn in the facility(silicone or otherwise). * Hoods/hoodies are prohibited from being worn in the facility. * Electronic devices are prohibited from the production areas * Manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required * Must have basic math and computer skills * Ability to read a tape measure Smurfit Westrock (NYSE:SW) is a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging solutions.
