How you will impact Smurfit Westrock as a Production Team Member:

The Production Worker will safely perform a wide range of tasks, conducting quality checks, material set-up, machine set up and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery and powered equipment.

 

What you need to succeed:

Work safely and follow Safety rules and regulations.Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, operate power hand tools, and other duties assigned.Maintain a clean work environment.Be able to lift, push, or pull 50lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel through the entire shift.Be willing to work ANY shift and willing to work overtime(may be required on occasion)Willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment(hot/cold)Stand on their feet for up to 12 hours per day. PPE is a requirement for employment. Examples of required PPE are as follows: Safety toed shoes(steel or composite), ear plugs, bump camp, safety glasses, gloves, sleeves, etc.ALL Jewelry is prohibited from being worn in the facility(silicone or otherwise). Hoods/hoodies are prohibited from being worn in the facility.Electronic devices are prohibited from the production areasManufacturing experience is preferred, but not requiredMust have basic math and computer skillsAbility to read a tape measure Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
