Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Production Tech 1 to join our team in Newark, United States. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various production equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.

Operate and monitor production machinery and equipmentLoad and unload materials into assigned machinesPerform basic machine setup, including adjusting components and troubleshooting as neededRespond to indicator lights and display screens, taking appropriate action to resolve issuesMaintain quality standards and meet production goalsCollaborate with team members to optimize production processesPerform regular equipment maintenance and cleaningAdhere to all safety protocols and proceduresAssist in inventory management and material handlingParticipate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvementComplete necessary documentation and reports related to production activities

QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED (preferred)0-1 year of related production experience (preferred)Basic math skills and ability to perform simple calculationsExcellent attention to detail and ability to multi-taskStrong teamwork and communication skillsProficiency in operating a pallet jackAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skills for data entry and report generationPhysical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs. throughout the shiftAbility to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work areaFlexibility to work overtime as neededQuick learner with a positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing prioritiesBasic understanding of production processes and quality control (preferred)

Additional Information

The hourly rate for this role at the noted location is range between $16.50 - $22.50

In addition to base pay, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
