Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Assist with the set-up, operation, breakdown, and inventory of event production equipment, including staging, seating, and event infrastructure. + Support event logistics , including handling livestock and horses as required for rodeo and equestrian events. + Perform general maintenance, facility upkeep, and ensure a clean and safe working environment. + Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, skid steers, and other machinery. + Provide technical and operational support throughout events to ensure seamless execution. + Understand and respond to client needs while maintaining a high level of customer service. + Follow safety procedures and comply with venue regulations, including applicable OSHA standards. + Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience in event operations, facility maintenance, or a similar role. + Knowledge of livestock handling, particularly in a rodeo setting. + Ability to operate heavy equipment and perform manual labor. + Flexible schedule with the willingness to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. + Familiarity with audio, video, and lighting systems is a plus but not required . Physical Demands + Ability to lift and push a minimum of 50 pounds. + Extended periods of standing, walking, and manual labor. + Comfortable working at heights over 50 feet and operating aerial lifts. + Exposure to high noise levels and physically demanding work conditions.
