Volt is immediately hiring for Production Technician in Gardena, CA.

As a Production Technician you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tRead and interpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions, specifications, and test instructions\r\n\tPerform all manufacturing processes required to build subassemblies, including welding, fastener installation, electrical assembly, plumbing, and general mechanical assembly\r\n\tEnsure parts meet all quality requirements\r\n\tKeep stations and work environment clean, completing 5S tasks at end of shift\r\n\tProvide documented build feedback to leadership and engineering for process improvements\r\n\tIdentify build blockers and effectively communicate them to leadership\r\n\tMaintain production tooling\r\n\tNavigate ERP system to find proper work orders and submit requests\r\n\tOperate equipment in a manner consistent with safety expectations\r\n\tMust be open to work various shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed\r\n\tMust be able to stand for extended periods – 8 hours minimum\r\n\tMust be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces\r\n\tMust be able to lift 50lbs\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full-time opportunity Monday - Friday

Pay range $18-$20 per hour

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAbility to understand and follow technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications.\r\n\tAbility to work independently or as part of a team to meet aggressive production milestones and deadlines\r\n\tProficiency in basic computer operations, including navigating an ERP system for work orders.\r\n\tCapability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted, stand for extended periods, and maneuver comfortably in tight spaces.\r\n\tStrong mathematical, basic computer, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills\r\n\r\n\r\n
