Production Technician I will be responsible for delivering manufactured materials in a safe, clean, and timely manner to meet customer demand. Production Technician I will understand the set-up of machines, ideally for beverages or other liquid manufacturing.
Role and Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all HSE and Food Safety & Quality legal and regulatory requirements and associated policies, standards, procedures and forms of the Company within the operations environmentUnderstand and follow facility safety practices and proceduresMaintains and execute the master sanitation scheduleOperates CIP systems and complete product transfers to liquid packaging linesWeigh materials, pumping ingredients into and out of mixing drums and totes Maintain the entire work area in a clean and orderly condition Ensures that all product produced meets quality specification by properly sanitizing all equipment, following recipe instructions, and calculating and accurately measuring/weighing all ingredientsComplete appropriate documentation to support inventory accuracy and batch traceability by recording production information and material usage in SAP as the actual production takes place; maintains production logs as necessary Conduct in-process quality checks and provides samples for the quality lab Monitor equipment performance and performs routine case and maintenance as required; works in partnership with maintenance technician to resolve equipment problemsBecome certified (or is certified) to operate a forklift truck Requirements Experience in a production environment, ideally in the Food and Beverage industry desirable Experience of setting up machines (Beverage or other liquid manufacturing experience desirable, but not essential)Degree in a relevant field also desirable but not essentialKnowledge of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)Knowledge or TPM & 5S.Knowledge of Lock out, tag out desirable.To be physically fit to lift, push, and pull up to 60lbs/27kgExperience of SAP or comparable systemsAbility to do basic mathematics for unit of measure conversionsThe flexibility to work in other Operational or Warehousing Teams as and when required Company OverviewKeurig Dr Pepper (NASDAQ: KDP) is a leading beverage company in North America, with a portfolio of more than 125 owned, licensed and partners brands and powerful distribution capabilities to provide a beverage for every need, anytime, anywhere.
