**Production Technician** $19.50 - $20.50 | Rushville, IN **Job Description** + Receive and process trucks hauling crop from the field for weighing and unloading (September-October). + Complete a wide range of harvest activities, such as husk and sort operations. + Operate dryer to dry crop within prescribed safety, quality, and financial requirements. + Shell and store crop from bins in the dryer facility. + Supply the Conditioning department with a constant supply of seed. + Apply appropriate treatment to seed. + Label, tag, bag, and palletize seed (November-March). + Enter inventory information into the computer. + Stage seed for shipment in the warehouse. + Retag in-house seed and re-bag backhaul returned seed (April-August). + Inspect pro boxes to ensure they are free of debris and clean. + Wash pro boxes as necessary. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work long hours and rotational shifts, including overtime as needed. + Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. + Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 60 pounds, work indoors and outdoors, and walk on uneven surfaces. + Steel-toed shoes required. + Must not be colorblind. + Ability to stand for long periods. + Ability to climb stairs at times. + Forklift experience (nice to have). **Shifts/Work Environment** + 1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm + 2nd Shift: 2pm - 10:30pm + 3rd shift: 10pm - 6:30am + The work environment is an agriculture setting with exposure to corn and insecticide dust.
