**Job Title: Production Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and hard-working Production Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various harvest activities such as preparation, sorting, drying, packaging, and palletizing. You will also be involved in return and rework activities, quality analysis & control activities, field management activities, and warehousing activities. This is a seasonal position, estimated to last 6-8 months, and could turn into a long-term opportunity for employees with excellent production and attendance. **Responsibilities** + Perform harvest activities including preparation, sorting, drying, packaging, and palletizing + Engage in return and rework activities + Conduct quality analysis and control activities + Participate in field management and warehousing activities + Operate PIT trucks (forklift operation with training) + Maintain clean and safe working environment by cleaning, sweeping, dusting, and washing equipment and harvest boxes **Essential Skills** + Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or farming + Ability to work on at least 2 shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift) + Comfortable working indoors or outdoors regardless of weather conditions + Physical capability to perform strenuous work + Commitment to safety + Ability to multitask + Team-based mindset **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Steel or composite toe shoes are required + Flexibility with working 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift depending on business need + Willingness to work in various capacities such as sorting, drying, machine operation, quality control, bagging/re-bagging, and palletizing **Why Work Here?** Potential to become a full-time employee with reliable attendance and performance, typically after 12 months if opportunities are available. The work is physical and requires wearing PPE including hard hat, safety vest, work gloves, and hearing protection, which are provided at the worksite. All employees must wear steel or composite-toe shoes at all times. During the peak season (September through March), the role may require flexible shifts and occasional overtime. During off-peak months (April through August), the work schedule typically shifts to an 8-hour day schedule.
