Production Technician
**Job Title: Production Technician** **Job Description** As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks or pallets with cylinders, performing initial visual inspections, shot blasting cylinders, re-qualifying acetylene cylinders, repairing and re-valving cylinders, and painting cylinders. Your role will also include performing other tasks as assigned or necessary. This position requires a safety-conscious individual with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with hand tools and mechanical equipment. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload trucks or pallets with cylinders to test or with completed cylinders + Perform initial visual inspection on cylinders, identify contents prior to removing labels + Shot blast cylinders and move to the next work area + Re-qualify acetylene cylinders according to established procedures + Repair and re-valve cylinders as necessary and according to established procedures + Paint cylinders as necessary according to established procedures + Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary **Essential Skills** + General labor experience + Experience as a loader and unloader + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + Ability to work with hand tools and mechanical equipment + Mechanical aptitude **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous knowledge of cylinders and industrial gases is preferred + Forklift and warehouse production experience + Safety toe shoes required **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values its employees with an employee stock ownership plan, health, dental, vision, and 401K benefits. The job requires the use of safety toe shoes. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, Idaho. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
