**Production Technician**
**Job Overview:**
The Production Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment and machinery in a production facility. This role involves troubleshooting and repairs, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are met. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
**Shift:** 6am-4pm
**Pay:** $17.00+ per hr.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery and equipment.
+ Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure equipment operates efficiently and production goals are met.
+ Inspect and test finished products for quality compliance.
+ Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
+ Maintain accurate production records and logs.
+ Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Assist with the setup and changeover of production lines.
**Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificates or associate degrees are a plus.
+ Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably as a technician.
+ Strong mechanical skills and ability to operate and maintain machinery.
+ Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Good communication and teamwork skills.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
+ Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
+ Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
+ Ability to work in varying temperatures and noise levels.
