Job Overview:
Linde is looking for qualified applicants to fill the role of Production Technician for the hydrogen and air separation processes. The Production Technician must demonstrate initiative in handling issues, be self-motivated, dependable, and work within a team environment. This position is a 12-hr shift position, alternating nights and days, and will report to the Plant Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and duties of a Production Technician include but are not limited to:
Work 12 hour rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 environment.Starting and shutting down equipment and processes.Monitoring and adjusting equipment and plant process operating parameters.Correctly performing valve line-ups.Preparing equipment for maintenance work including lock-out-tag-out.Correctly and safely permitting maintenance work.Professional judgment for operating the facility safely, reliably, and efficiently at all times.Procedure development and training of new employees.Effectively communicating with our customers and suppliers when required.Other duties as assigned.The Production Technician must be able to perform basic troubleshooting and recognize when to escalate matters when more experienced specialists must be called in for support.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.2 years Production Operations experience or Associates Degree with previous internship in Plant OperationsStrong interest in and experience with electrical and mechanical systems.Have a working knowledge of computers and typical computer programs (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft applications).Proficiency with a variety of hand tools, meters, instrument calibration equipment etc.Working knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and motors.Must be able to climb ladders and steps, lift up to 50 lbs., and work at heights.Preferred Qualifications:
