Job Title: Production Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician for the efficient operation of our specialty chemicals plant. The role involves handling powdered chemicals used in the polymer making process, which are critical for plastics and waste water treatment plants. You will operate plant machinery, perform repetitive tasks, and work across multiple levels of the facility. Safety, environmental responsibility, and efficiency are paramount.

ResponsibilitiesOperate plant machinery and equipment, including opening/closing valves and monitoring instrumentation panels.Report findings from gauges and ensure compliance with safety and operating procedures.Dump 10-kilo bags into containers, utilizing basic math skills to track and monitor plant data.Stay current on operating procedures, emergency procedures, and safety policies.Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.Use forklifts, industrial scales, power tools, and hand tools.Perform maintenance on equipment as needed and troubleshoot minor maintenance defects.Essential SkillsMachine operationMechanical skillsProduction and troubleshootingChemical or batch mixingMechanical functions and machine operationChemical processingCalibration and blendingWhy Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
