A prominent player in Offshore Energy Solutions, renowned for its cutting-edge floating production systems and services tailored for the Oil and Gas sector, as an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician. This key role is to operate the process and utility systems safely and efficiently and help to prepare such plant for maintenance.  The role is located in Equatorial Guinea.

Job Summary: Must operate plant process and utility systems effectively and safely. It is expected that procedures will be followed at all times and that O&M Contractor and local regulatory compliance met in all aspects of work. The Production Technician will facilitate routine maintenance by isolation and reinstatement, liaising with CRO.
Job Responsibilities: Start up, Operate, Monitor and Shut Down Process and Utility systems. Monitor, maintain and optimize process parameters (Level, flow, temperature, pressure etc.) within operating requirements. Work to O&M Contractor Management System policies and procedures, in particular Isolation Standards, and PTW. Carry out all operations in safe and environmentally sound manner. Facilitate maintenance operations by applying/removing isolations as required. Operation under PTW system, Toolbox Talk and Risk Assessments. Control activities of vendor and subcontractor personnel.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements: Proven experience and/or qualified to N/SVQ Hydrocarbon Processing Level 2 or similar qualification level from country of origin. Three (3) years’ experience of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities. Knowledge of ESD F&G and DCS operation. Good understanding of Permit to Work, Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment. Medically fit to offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.
